História
"Špica" significa literalmente "ponta": nome que vem do formato triangular da península onde o parque fica. A área era usada como praia fluvial até meados do século XX. Depois ficou meio abandonada, mas em 2010 foi revitalizada com um projeto urbano que trouxe vida nova ao espaço.
This beautiful riverside park is located at the point where the Ljubljanica River curves and its two branches meet. The name Špica, meaning point or delta in Slovene, refers to the triangular shape of the land where the park sits. It’s a perfect place to sit and quietly watch the calm flow of the river for as long as you like. At sunset, the soft glow of the fading light reflected on the water creates a truly romantic atmosphere.
