Se for ver um jogo ou show, a arena tem muita coisa para explorar e ainda vai precisar de tempo para estacionar. Tente chegar uma hora antes para garantir que você pegue o evento de forma tranquila.
Como dinheiro vivo não é mais aceito na arena, há máquinas automáticas (ATM) onde você pode fazer um "saque reverso", isto é, inserir notas e convertê-las em um cartão pré-pago naquele valor.
PRIMEIRA CLASSE: Para quem tem um orçamento maior, há áreas VIPs e até lounges, onde você pode assistir aos jogos de perto e com um tratamento top.

Como em qualquer grande evento, há segurança forte. Opte por levar apenas o que for extremamente necessário e somente em bolsas com no máximo 25 x 15 x 5 cm (bolsas maiores serão barradas e você terá que alugar um locker por sua conta). Evite levar itens proibidos e se prepare para passar por uma checagem ao entrar. Bolsas de bebês ou com utensílios médicos podem entrar, mediante checagem no raio-x.

Durante a pandemia do Covid-19, a arena foi transformada em um centro de vacinação ? a transformação de um estádio para um serviço comunitário!
Apesar de a arena ter estrutura e autorização para criar uma pista de gelo para partidas da NHL (campeonato de hóquei), a arena nunca sediou o esporte, somente shows como o Disney on Ice.

We had a wonderful time at the game. We went early and they let us in the store before the doors opened to get our Heat Swag. Was a much better experience than waiting for the doors to open and the rush of fans come in. We were almost at the top of the balcony and could still see amazing! Such a great venue.

2024/02 Went here for a Heat game. We arrived late but had a good time. At the end of the game, a friendly employee took our picture for us. The outside of he stadium is nice as well all lit up after the game. Of course, the bag policy was quite annoying. Thankfully they had lockers. We parked at Gesu Church through a parking app. It felt quite sketchy walking back after the game (even with some road rage and guns drawn), but not too bad as there were other people headed back to their cars as well.

First of all it's a beautiful arena! Always has been when it was American Airlines. Miami is crowded so I have taken into consideration of all those factors. The lines are long even for a Brooklyn Nets game! We arrived 40 minutes early and waited half an hour to get in. That's expected with events like this. I don't think they could have made it any smoother. Communication from staff was clear where to go and were polite. People coming to the venue were not rude but they did push their way in to alleviate the wait time with no regard to the fact that they have cut into another group. Again that is expected and I would not know how to fix that with so many people entering the arena. I would say the flight of stairs and lack of space of overflow for people to line up correctly has a lot to do with this issue here compared to other arenas I have been to. I love this arena and it's one of my favorites to go to when I am in town to attend a basketball game! Beautiful arena and architecture. I got some nose dives seats last minute. Very satisfying and still a nice view. I wish I could see the box scores from where I'm seating. I took away a star for that reason and the lack of transparency of lines to get in the arena when the line over flows. I think if people understood where the lines form behind the metal detector, we would be able to get in faster. I felt people were coming from another lane and just hopped onto my side because it expedited faster because there was no transparency of where the line would begin. Maybe it's because people here do not understand the concept of lines which is true when you visit Miami! Having grown up here, I can attest to this but it can be fixed through effective innovation and planning. That is my only complaint and justification to why I gave this arena 4 stars out of 5.

Excellent place, the home court of the Miami Heat basketball team, but they also host many other events. Very convenient, easy parking, lots of restaurants and entertainment nearby. A great experience. I enjoyed it a lot. Highly recommend the place. Tell them David Frenkel sent you.

How is it that they still haven't figured out how to get people into the arena more quickly? The crowds and wait time are ridiculous. It would seem to me that during the time that people are kept waiting that they could instead be inside the arena actually enjoying themselves buying food and drink, though the choice of papa john's as their pizza is certainly questionable. The bathrooms also weren't great with huge lines at times. They really should be doing better, or building a new arena. This just seems a little old and tired, but maybe that's also a reflection of the current team.
